What ingredients are in the Advanced Aftercare spray?Updated a month ago

Our Advanced Aftercare Spray is our preferred aftercare option for safe, effective, and faster healing. It contains water, sodium hypochlorite, and phosphoric acid.

It is gentle enough for all skin types, including sensitive skin. This solution mimics your body’s natural healing response, has antibacterial properties, and helps soothe and calm the skin.

Most excitingly, it can help speed up the healing timeline. Lobe piercings done with a device may be ready for a jewelry change in as little as three weeks instead of six, and cartilage piercings in about eight weeks instead of twelve. While the initial healing stage may finish sooner, all piercings can take up to a full year to completely heal. For that reason, we recommend keeping an earring in at all times during the first year to maintain the shape and health of your new piercing.

If you choose to use a non-Rowan cleanser or a basic saline solution, please remember that healing may take longer since those options do not have the same antibacterial or healing-boosting properties.
