14k Yellow or White Gold: A premium precious metal valued for its lasting beauty, durability, and resistance to tarnishing. Its rich appearance and long-term wear make it a popular choice for fine jewelry and everyday use.

Flat Back Studs (used for needle piercings):
Front: 14k Yellow or White Gold, Titanium, or 24k Gold over Titanium
Pin: Stainless Steel— Chosen for its strength and durability, allowing the tension mechanism to securely hold the front piece in place.
Back Post: ASTM F136 Titanium or 14k Yellow Gold
We pierce with ASTM F136 titanium flat backs because they're the highest grade available, providing the best combination of safety, durability, lightweight comfort, and biocompatibility for healing. After your initial healing period, you can upgrade to 14k gold posts for $20 per post at your downsizing appointment.
