Can you reopen an old piercing?Updated 2 months ago
Re-piercing an area that has closed or partially closed is safe as long as there is no significant scarring. During your appointment, your Piercing Nurse will perform an ear exam to ensure the prior piercing has healed properly and is safe to re-pierce. If necessary, the Piercing Nurse will work with you to adjust the piercing location, ensuring it’s exactly where you’d like it. This costs $35 per hole and requires the purchase of a Rowan flatback earring so we can be sure that we are using sterile jewelry when re-opening your prior piercing.
