Can both ears be pierced simultaneously?
Many studios can accommodate simultaneous (tandem) piercings when multiple Piercing nurses are on shift. Since schedules can vary, we recommend contacting your preferred studio directly to confirm availability and coordinate your appointment.
What happens if I change my mind while in the piercing chair?
No pressure at all—your comfort is our top priority! If you decide not to go through with the piercing while in the chair, that’s okay. You will not be charged a piercing fee if you don't receive any piercings. However, you will be charged for device
Do you pierce babies and young children?
At Rowan, we pierce all ages! For babies and children under 5, we use a gentle, hand-pressurized device to perform the piercing procedure. We do not use hollow needles for this age group. You can learn more about what to bring and vaccination require
Are there vaccination requirements?
Yes. For children ages 5 and under, we require at least one dose of the DTaP vaccine (typically administered at 2 months old). Please ensure this has been completed at least two weeks prior to the piercing procedure. You will be asked to confirm this
Can I bring my own earrings?
No. For safety and hygiene reasons, at Rowan, we can only pierce with our specially designed, pre-sterilized piercing earrings. We cannot use earrings provided by customers or reuse previously purchased Rowan earrings for new piercings. Our piercing
