At Rowan, needle piercings are available for children ages 5 and older who can sit independently and follow instructions. The ability to remain still is essential for the safety and precision of the procedure. Some studios may have a stricter age policy due to local rules. Because safety is always our priority, our Piercing Nurses will assess each child’s readiness and recommend the safest option. If a needle piercing is not appropriate, a device piercing will be suggested instead.
